Overview

We know the names of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg. But what about the female entrepreneurs? What’s their story? Featuring a cast of five diverse New York women, ages 24-86, spanning across industries like tech, fashion, and angel investing, Dream, Girl tells the stories of inspiring female entrepreneurs.

Fundraising & Production

Dream, Girl was born on Kickstarter where I raised $104K in 30 days to produce the film. Then I got to work writing, producing, directing, and editing. I hired and managed a six member, all-female crew to join me on set.

To The White House & Beyond

Dream, Girl premiered in May 2016 at Obama’s White House, and made its New York debut at a sold out screening in the iconic 600-seat Paris Theatre.

Grass-Roots Distribution

Utilizing the power and passion of women’s communities, I built a grass-roots distribution model from the ground up to bring Dream, Girl to the world. I hired and managed a full-service team, designed companion materials, and built our distribution infrastructure. To date, the film has been screened nearly 400 times in over 60 different countries around the world.

Visual Identity & Marketing

In addition to running our production and distribution teams, I also was in charge of marketing, social media, and the brand’s communication across all mediums. From logo to merchandise, I designed the Dream, Girl brand identity, in addition to art directing and producing everything it touches.
